Gods & Monsters: Not Your Regular Comic Book Store

Gods & Monsters, a comic book store located in Orlando Florida, has a diversity of comic books; action figures; handcrafted vinyl sculptures depicting various games, comic book characters, anime, and movies; they have memorabilia from your favorite Syfy shows such as Doctor Who, Firefly, Star Trek, and Star Wars and much more. Gods & Monsters has their own events as well, such as Doctor Who day, Free Comic Book day, and more that are fun to go to. Depending on what event it is you get a discount on items related to whatever the event is about, for instance, if it is Doctor Who you get a discount on any Doctor Who memorabilia. But one of the many great things about Gods & Monsters is the fact that they have their own bar, but right now due to them moving to a new location it is not up right now but will be soon. They had a diversity of drinks such as artisan beers, meads, and for nonalcoholic drinks, they had various types of sodas. My favorite drink of theirs is mead, specifically their Pollen-Nation mead in my opinion taste sweet with a combination of spices.

Gods & Monsters is a place one could go into and stay for a few hours. I have spent quite some time just walking through the store reading various comics, books, or talking with the fun and nice employees that work there. If your looking for a place to go and escape from the world for a bit Gods & Monsters is the place. Another aspect of Gods & Monsters is how each event of theirs is free, so it works out great when your bored but do not have the money to go out just check out Gods & Monsters page on Facebook for a free event to go to. Also, I mentioned how depending on an event you can get discounts on the items that relate to that event, but not only do they have discounts for that, but days such as May the 4th a day celebrating Star Wars Gods & Monsters had discounts for Star Wars merchandise. When you walk in you feel that your not going to be judged or bombarded by a salesperson who just wants you to buy something, Gods & Monsters is a relaxed atmosphere with chill people.
