What does it mean to be healthy? I use to think that being healthy meant to be skinny, but with researching, learning, and experiences I have learned it is not that, but it is more than that. One of the most important aspects is, what does it feel like to be healthy?
Being healthy it is not just your physical health, but living a healthy life involves mental and emotional aspects besides our physical health. Those three aspects of health is what makes us. We make our bodies starting from the inside to the outside with what we eat, what were thinking, and with what we are doing. Because something that relates us to one another is is the fact that we all want to feel better. Meaning health is more than how we look, but how we are feeling. Since we can workout nonstop, stress over what is right to eat, or count every meal we eat but what it comes down to is how we feel. Regarding our physical health, mental health, and emotional health for each most have worries and insecurities that start from the inside to the outside.
Thus when it comes to tackling health we should do our best to approach it with the mindset of “ Eat clean and healthy, manage stress, and get regular physical activity.” ( mindbodygreen.com) and most importantly remembering it is more of how your feeling. For instance, you can count calories, be strict over your diet, and again workout endlessly, but after all that sometimes your left with an empty feeling and that feeling surpasses all the healthy actions your trying to take. Hence, do not just think of healthy as working out, eating clean and healthy, and keeping your stress low, but remember to keep notice of how you feel. So throughout the progress of your healthy living you can enjoy it. Learn to have that in the center of your healthy lifestyle.
